God calls us to protect and care for children, recognizing them as individuals of value and dignity. At Logos International School, we follow Christ’s example by ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
“God claims sovereignty over the lives of children as over all Creation. Men and women have no mandate from God to destroy or defile Creation; indeed, God’s Word extends the responsibility of protecting and safeguarding children – not just to a parent’s own offspring but also to the stranger and orphan (Deut. 24:17). …Jesus approached children compared to the prevailing cultural mores, changing both the status and role of the child in religious thought. Not only did Jesus extend rights to children as individuals, he also made clear that God sees children as individuals. Jesus treated children not as incomplete adults, but as young people called directly to him.”

The Asian Hope Board recognizes that no organization is immune to the horrors of child abuse. Our Child Protection Policy is a proactive measure to protect children and teenagers within our organization. Following Christ’s example, we are committed to showing care and concern for every child in our care.
Our recruitment process is rigorous, including confidential references and mandatory criminal record checks for all staff.
All incidents or reports are attended to promptly and professionally. Allegations are taken seriously, and the alleged victim is never held responsible.
Logos International School is a proud member of the Child Safety and Protection Network (CSPN). CSPN is a collaborative network of mission agencies, faith-based NGOs, and international Christian schools intentionally addressing the issues of child protection.
Since its inception in 2006, CSPN has grown to 111 organizations. Each year, at least two staff members attend the Response Team Training to stay equipped in child protection strategies.
Asian Hope Schools conduct annual child protection training for all staff. For Cambodian staff, training is led in Khmer, and new staff attend sessions during orientation. All staff receive refresher training at the start of each new school year.
