General Information

Logos students come from a wide range of nationalities and socio-economic backgrounds. The Logos student body consists largely of Cambodian children and children of missionaries from various countries. Some of the twenty-one nationalities represented at Logos include Cambodian, American, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, Thai, Finnish, Canadian, Singaporean, Malaysian, and Australian.

Enrollment is generally limited to no more than 40% of any one nationality in order to preserve the international balance of the student population.

Logos International School is dedicated to academic excellence in providing a well-rounded, quality, Christian education to students from all ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. L.I.S. does not discriminate in its admission policy based on race, national origin, religion, or sex; however, religious orientation may be considered when necessary to maintain the strong Christian culture of the school.

Though not required to be Christian, parents of students at L.I.S. should have a clear understanding of the biblical philosophy and purpose of the school. This includes a willingness to have their child exposed to the school’s Statement of Faith throughout the educational program.

Children must be five years of age by August 1st of the current school year to be eligible for Kindergarten and six years of age by August 1st to be eligible for First Grade. These ranges reflect the general age criteria for each grade level.

Every attempt will be made to place children in the grade levels for which they are applying. However, assessment tests or other evidence may result in alternate placement decisions. Logos reserves the right to not admit or re-admit any student if enrollment is determined not to be in the best interest of the school, the family, or the child.

Logos strongly believes in the partnership of school and family. Parents are expected to cooperate with all written policies of L.I.S., particularly in the areas of discipline and academic standards.

Families who are delinquent in payment of tuition to L.I.S. or who have outstanding balances at another private school are not eligible for enrollment.

How to Apply

The initial application will be considered complete when the following items are submitted:

Due to limited space in each grade level, there is typically a waiting list. When space becomes available, families may be contacted for an interview and student admissions testing (reading fluency, comprehension, writing, and math). Students are expected to meet grade-level standards.

Missionary Discount

As part of our commitment to supporting Christian ministry in Cambodia, Logos International School offers tuition assistance to qualifying missionary organizations and families.

Eligible families may receive a 10%–25% tuition discount, depending on organizational qualification and approval.

Missionary organizations interested in receiving the Missionary Organization Discount should have their regional director complete the Logos Missionary Organization Form. The completed form may be submitted in person at our office or scanned and emailed to office@logoscambodia.org . We will respond shortly regarding the status of your application.

Individual missionaries who are not part of a specific organization should complete the Individual Missionary Discount Form and return it to the Logos office.
