The Principal’s Parent Meeting

Dear Parents,
Please be informed that the Principal’s Parent Meeting will be rescheduled when students’ learning resumes on campus.

SCHOOL CLOSED Starting Tuesday, February 23, 2021

We regret to announce that The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport have announced that all schools in Phnom Penh will now be closed for a period of TWO WEEKS.
The school is CLOSED with immediate effect.  Teaching staff will be in touch about online work and students should check their emails and Google Classroom.

During this unsettled time, please be safe following the protocols and precautions that are wise during a pandemic. Wear a mask, wash your hands, observe social distancing 1.5 meters.
Do not join large crowds. Do not travel if unnecessary. Follow all the guidance from the Ministry of Health. 
Please communicate with us if your family has any contact with someone attached to the growing list of locations listed by the Ministry of Health.

Online ½ Day Zoom Schedule and Homework Expectations for Secondary Students

Since the government closed schools in Phnom Penh for at least two weeks,  Logos is providing online education.  In order to limit online fatigue, we shortened secondary classes to 40-minute ZOOM sessions ending by noon.  Students will have independent work to complete in the afternoons or evenings. This is similar to the schedule secondary had from March through May of 2020.  Check Out the Online Timetable

Teachers may provide up to 30 minutes of independent learning activities or homework per class, although some larger long-term projects like essays or presentations may take students longer if they do not divide the work up over the allotted days.  If students work diligently on their assignments in the afternoon without too many distractions or breaks, they should be able to complete their homework in a maximum of two to two and a half hours. (i.e. from 1:00 pm to 3:30pm).

I am happy to announce that the Logos website has a link to the Nurse’s Office. Please check it out. The site contains many of Logo’s Student Authorization Forms that are important for Allergy Alerts and Mediation Administration while on campus. It also has a link to our Student COVID-19 travel questionnaire. 
It is a pleasure to serve our Logos Community.
