COVID VACCINATIONS

The Cambodian national vaccination programme started in February 2021 and is using the Sinopharm, Sinovac, AstraZeneca (Covishield) and Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccines. The Royal Government of Cambodia has stated that foreign nationals resident and working in Cambodia are eligible for vaccination if they choose to join the programme. There is no need to register with your embassy. The Royal Phnom Penh Hospital has also been given permission to import Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines ahead of a paid vaccination service in August/September 2021.

Foreign Nationals in Phnom Penh who wish to be vaccinated should visit Preah Ang Duong Hospital with their passports between 8am and 11am or 2pm and 4pm. This programme will end on 8 September 2021. Children aged 12-17 are able to get vaccinated in Phnom Penh at the National Maternal and Child Health Centre. If you are considering a vaccination for somebody in this age group, you should seek medical advice from their local healthcare provider and obtain the correct documentation from your local Sangkat office.

The Ministry of Education Youth and Sport continues to push for the vaccination of students aged between 12 and 17 years. REMEMBER: you need the two shots (14 days – approx) apart, followed by a period of approximately two weeks to be considered fully vaccinated.

Although we have asked, we still have NOT been informed what the requirements from the MoEYS and Ministry of Health will be for students to return to “in person” learning. There are many rumours that some schools may open soon – but at the present time these are just rumours and we wait for an official announcement before we confirm anything! When your child has been vaccinated it would be helpful if you could let us have a copy of the vaccination card as we expect the Ministry will be asking for this evidence. We still have a lot of questions about this process and will pass on more information as this becomes available.

CLOSED CAMPUS

The school campus is “officially” closed – however, staff are allowed entry for work and we are doing our best to maintain the campus ready for re-opening.  Should you need to visit the school office for any reason, please email or telephone to make an appointment before visiting

SCHOOL FEES

You should have received an invoice for the payment of fees for schooling

Please remember that Logos charges an ANNUAL FEE, but for convenience and ease, we allow the payment to be made over 10 monthly payments.  To ensure that we continue with smooth operation we need fees to be settled promptly.  Late fees will attract an interest charge and persistent delays will result in your child(ren)’s learning being disrupted.

A Note from School Nurse

Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2021-22 academic year.

If your child has received Covid-19 vaccine, please inform our office or email me directly with the information.

For the safety and wellbeing of each student, please complete the Student Health and Emergency Form that was placed in your child’s take-home packet. Although classes are still online, we want to be prepared for when our school can be reopened. If you did not receive the form, you can find it HERE. Please attach a copy of any updated vaccination records (including Covid-19 vaccinations) with the form. Please return it to the homeroom teacher during one of the packet pickup sessions, or scan and email it directly to me (ssor@asianhope.org).
