Updated Secondary Absence Procedures

Due to the COVID situation, we are still a little flexible with the number of days in our absence policy. However, if secondary students in Grades 6-12 are scheduled to attend class (in person or on Zoom) and they are sick or absent, they need to take the following steps:

  1. A parent or guardian should call or email the Logos Office
    1. office@logoscambodia.org
    2. 017 473 515 or 016 544 467
  2. Students should use this email template to email all of their teachers
  3. Students are responsible for all make-up work
  4. Absences of more than 5 days need to be pre-approved by the Logos Office

Flu Vaccinations at Logos Thursday, December 3, 2020

Flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and sometimes the lungs. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. The best way to prevent flu is by getting a flu vaccine each year. The symptoms of Flu can be similar to COVID-19, so this year health care providers around the world are encouraging prompt Flu Vaccinations.
The Bmed Medical Service Clinic is working with Logos International School to provide the annual Flu Vaccine to children at school.  This vaccine will protect against all three influenza strains that are expected to circulate this year. We will hold a vaccination clinic at Logos on Thursday, December 3 starting at 8:30 am. The cost of this Vaxigrip trivalent 2020 Influenza vaccine is $19/injection. This is to be paid directly to Bmed Medical Service by ABA transfer or cash at the time of administration. If no signed consent form or no payment, no vaccine will be administered.
More information and permission forms will be sent home with students later this week.  If you wish for your child to be vaccinated, please complete this sign-up form, even if you already completed the form last month. We will contact you with more information regarding a time slot to receive the vaccination.
