Flourishing Faith Initiative – ACSI
Some of you will know that Logos has over the last few years taken part in a survey called Flourishing School Culture with ACSI. As we have been committed to this survey and analysing the outcomes ACSI have asked us to take part in a pilot study they are running: The Flourishing Faith Initiative. We have agreed to be a part of this as we would like to know if it can support our understanding of spiritual formation within the school.
Your part:
We are asking you to complete this survey by 9th December. Depending on how long you spend thinking about the questions, it will require about 20 minutes of your time. Sadly, there is no ‘save and continue’ button so make sure you have a block of time. You can leave the survey open on your computer and come back to it. In general, your first impression is the most accurate, so there’s no need to over-analyze individual questions. Your response will not be tracked to you personally, so don’t worry about anyone judging you or being offended by your honest insight.
There are about 50 pairs of statements about your family, faith and the school that you rate your agreement or disagreement with. Strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree or strongly disagree. There may be questions you can’t answer – that would be a neutral response. All responses are anonymous.
All teachers, TAs, staff and leaders, Secondary students, Board members, and alumni will all be asked to participate. Another specific link will be shared with them.
Your participation is voluntary but we hope that you will be able to find the time to complete the survey by 9th December and support this new initiative with ACSI. The results over time may be helpful to us as a school in supporting spiritual formation for students.

A NOTE FROM SCHOOL NURSE
The combination of changing weather and frequent holiday gatherings have significantly contributed to the surge of the common cold. Fever, sore throat, cough, and runny nose are some of the most common symptoms among students after the holiday. When a child is ill, parents often wonder if they should give their child medicine for coughs and colds. Please Click Here to find out more regarding the use of medicine for coughs and colds among children.
