LOGOS GRADUATION
STAFF LEAVING
As we approach the last week of school there is a sense of completion – a year of school is finishing! However, at the same time there is a sadness that comes each year as we say good bye to some families and staff. If you are leaving this year we want to say ‘farewell and safe journey to the next place’. We are glad that you have been with us for as long as you have! We especially want to thank Dominique Unger, our Head Librarian for all she has done in the library over the last few years. I am sure you are aware of the impact she has made there and how many children have enjoyed listening to her stories or taking up her book recommendations. Shin Hye Hwang is also leaving this year and returning to the US ready for her wedding. As an alumni Shin Hye has had a distinct perspective and impact on the students she has taught and the colleagues she has worked alongside. Both of these ladies will be missed by us all but we wish them well as they move onto their next adventure with God. Please join us in praying for them. Please continue to pray for the new teachers and staff that God has called to join us. More about them next school year!
WELCOME
A huge welcome to Stephen van Jaarsveld who comes to take over the “Operations” of Logos. Stephen has a couple of weeks of handover and then a summer of business to get the school ready for the new academic year. You will see him around on campus, so please make him feel welcome.
Stephen is here with his wife and two young children (his wife, Elna used to work at Logos as Art teacher!)

Please double check that all your fees payments are completed and re-enrolments completed for those who wish to return. Outstanding fees will mean that reports are not released to you until the debt is cleared!
Library books should already be back with the library and any borrowed Chromebooks should now be returned and logged out on a daily basis if needed.
Please not that the last day of the school year is Friday 27th May – this will be a half day of school, Elementary finishing at 11:00am and Secondary finishing at 11:30am

REMINDER ABOUT HELMETS
It is the law in Cambodia that both driver and any passengers wear a suitable “crash helmet” when riding on a motorcycle. Students who come to school either driving their own bike, or as a passenger, who are NOT wearing a helmet will be asked to return to get one!

A NOTE FROM SCHOOL NURSE
As the 2021-22 academic year is about to end, students’ medications that are currently stored in the medical office will be returned to parents/guardians next week. For safety purposes, the medications cannot be sent home with students. I will call parents on Thursday, May 26, to pick up the medications from our office.
