LOGOS’ WASC / ACSI ACCREDITATION PROCESS
Logos is just over half way through the accreditation visit for ACSI and WASC. The visiting team from 6 different countries and in 4 different time zones have been wonderful to work with. They have really come alongside as Christian colleagues to help us see what we are doing well and what we can do to improve.
The teachers, staff and leaders have been super flexible and shared how things work here confidently. The visiting team has been impressed by our transparency and willingness to share.
We are very thankful to the LPA parents who were willing to meet the team and share their perspective on the school.
The final review will happen on Friday when Logos will be given a list of commendations and some recommendations for improvement. We will share the report with all parents once we receive it.

When to End Isolation If You Test Positive with Symptoms (According to the CDC and the Ministry of Health in Cambodia)
If you test positive for Covid, you need to isolate yourself immediately. It is recommended that you stay in a separate room and use different utensils from other members of your household. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends ending isolation after 5 days if symptoms have improved and fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication. The first day of symptoms or positive test is counted as day zero. Therefore, from the day of symptoms or positive test to the end of isolation is a total of 6 full days.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) in Cambodia recommends that the general public should isolate for 7 days. If they have been symptom-free for the past three days, they can perform a rapid antigen test on day 7. For the fully vaccinated, isolation ends on day 7 if they test negative and do not have symptoms (also a total of 6 full days).
Our school’s guideline is consistent with both the CDC and MoH. Remember, if you continue to have symptoms and test positive after day 7, you need to continue to isolate yourself. If your symptoms have improved but still test positive, please re-test yourself after 48 hours.
To keep our community safe, we rely on honest reports and clear communication from everyone. If a member of your family tests positive, please keep your child home and notify me via ssor@asianhope.org.
BUILDING PROGRESS
Almost finished bricking up the changing rooms, plastering the walls should be starting soon and the roof trusses coming within a couple of weeks.
CONTINUING CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT
We’re delighted to have recently had our Early Years Sails erected – this gives us better protection from the sun during the day
In two weeks time we should be starting on the gym floor to get the new playing surface down … we’ll be delighted to have an improved gym
