Early Release – Friday the 17th

Students will be dismissed at 11:55 on Friday, January 17.  Students should be off campus by 12:15. Teachers will have professional development that afternoon.

LPA English Class!

Greetings! The next LPA English class will be Wednesday, February 5 and then again on the 19th.
All parents are welcome to come and enjoy, even those who know English well or are native English speakers.

Long-term Substitute

Logos International School is looking for a long-term Substitute Teacher for 5th grade. Our current teacher is going out on maternity leave and we need a substitute starting February 17 until the end of the school year. Applicants need a university degree, preferably in education, and experience working with children in an educational setting. Applicants also need to be native English speakers. Jog-a-thon 2020

This year’s elementary Jog-a-thon is on Friday, February 7th at 8:25am. 
If your child would like a Jog-a-thon shirt, please turn in $25 to the office before Friday, January 24th. 
We should have samples shirts in the front office for your child to try on soon. ALL money is due to the office by Friday, February 7th before 8:00am.  

Library Corner

LOGOS School Photo Retake Day-

Logos students who missed the individual school photo day in August will retake school photos on Monday, January 20 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  Students involved in retakes may wear dress down clothing on Monday.  

Morning Tardy Reminder for Secondary Students

In order to take part in our school, students agree to abide by the rules of our community. This includes showing up on time for homeroom at 8:05 am. If a student has acquired, intentionally or unintentionally, three tardies in a quarter, he/she will receive a 30-minute detention. For every three subsequent tardies, the student will receive an additional 30-minute detention and extra community service hours. If necessary, the administration will contact parents to discuss the attendance issue and possible additional consequences.
Several students already have 3 or more tardies this quarter.  Please encourage your students to be on time for school. Morning detentions will begin next Tuesday.

TKC Transition Retreat Next Summer in the USA

For more than 30 years, Interaction International has been supporting missionary and ex-pat families by hosting transition retreats to help teens transition to life in their passport countries. If you are interested, you can visit their website to learn more about their summer 2020 transition retreats for students ages 12 to 21.
