School Calendar Change

You may have heard that the number of public holidays for 2020 in Cambodia has been reduced. We will make just one change to our school calendar. 20th May will change so that we are in school that day – no holiday. The last week of school in May will look like this:

  • 25, 26, 27 May will be normal school days.
  • 28 May will be the last day of school for students – half day and no lunch.
  • 29 May will be the last day for teachers

Note from Nurse

Stay Home if You’re Sick

As parents we can take many actions that can help guard children’s bodies against infections and build up their immune systems to make them strong and resistant to illness. However, if they do get sick, remember to keep them home until they have been symptom-free for 24 hours without the aid of medication. It is typical when a child runs a fever that the fever is elevated in the evening and lower in the morning. So if they had a fever (38C or 100.4F or higher) prior to going to bed that evening, they should stay home the next day from school. This is to keep from infecting others and spreading the illness further.
Thank you for helping to keep our campus health and safe.

Parent / Teacher Conferences

Parent / Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday afternoon, October 24th, from 3:30 – 6:00pm; and on Friday, October 25th, from 1:00 – 4:00pm.  Secondary conferences will be held in the MPR; elementary in their classrooms.

This is a time for you to talk with your student’s teacher about how they are progressing so far this year.  Unless specifically requested by the classroom teacher, these meetings are designed to be between the parents and the teacher and are not a time for student participation.

Elementary Parents: please contact the Logos front office to schedule a time:  017 473 515, office@logoscambodia.org.
