May 1, 2019 is Labor Day! )

We are celebrating Labor Day this year by…
appreciating those who support our teachers each and everyday!

Our Maintenance Staff,
Our Cleaners,
Our Cooks,
Our Guards
Our non-teaching Khmer Staff
…all play a vital role in providing an amazing learning environment!

We have 24 support staff members:
Please help us honor them.

We are going to purchase Cell phone Top-up cards for each staff member.

We are going to purchase bubble Tea from Chatime for the staff.

We would like to provide 24 gift bags of essential daily necessities.
We would also like to provide 24 gift bags with special treats.

Please send in your gifts with your children to their homeroom teachers or deliver them to Mr. Workman’s office in the Logos office. Financial gifts are acceptable as are physical gifts. There is a box to receive monetary donations as well. We would request that all donations are brought in by Tuesday morning next week April 30th.

We will collect donations, pack them up and then distribute them on Wednesday, May 1st.
Last year we were blown away by your generosity!
Our Support Staff was overwhelmed and felt truly blessed!
Nothing will go to waste!

A Note from School Nurse

Finishing Well

Welcome back from our week long New Year celebrations! We’ve got 6 weeks till summer break with rolling electrical blackouts and heat. The heat brings a new set of childhood illnesses. Common at this time of year is Hand Foot and Mouth, Chicken Pox and Respiratory Infections ( Communicable Disease Policy). If you click on each of these illness you can find the Logos school policy for each disease.

At Logos, we regularly clean and disinfect our toys and classroom touch points. Good handwashing techniques are also important. We have ice available in coolers on every floor to help keep our students and staff cool while our generators are running. Thank you Parents for reinforcing good handwashing techniques at home and reminding the children to drink more water. Together we can have a fun and successful end of the school year!
