Re-Enrollment Forms 2019-2020

Dear Parents,

We would like to inform you that the Re-Enrollment forms for our new academic school year 2019-2020 have been sent out this morning to your emails. Please fill in the form for all of your children that will attend Logos in August of 2019.  This form needs to be submitted before March 30, 2019.  Failing to do so may jeopardize your child(ren)’s enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year as we will begin to admit new students shortly after this deadline has passed. Also, there is a Media Fee of $200 for 2019-2020 SY to be paid along with the Re-Enrollment Form, by March 30.

Elementary Talent Show

The Elementary Talent Show is this Friday, March 22, from 5:00-6:00 pm, in the MPR. Tickets are $1 and available in the office.  Please come and watch these very talented students!  If your children are participating, please remind them to continue to practice in order to be ready for their performance.

Logos Policy on Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs, & Weapons

We just wanted to remind you of our policy on the use and possession of Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs, and Weapons.

• Logos Students are not permitted to use or possess alcohol or tobacco products on school premises, in school vans, or at school-sponsored activities and functions.
• Logos prohibits the use, possession, purchase, or sale of illegal or dangerous drugs and weapons.
• Students are not allowed to attend or participate in any school function while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Violation of these policies automatically necessitates discipline by an administrator, which may include consequences such as but not limited to detention, suspension, loss of student privileges, limiting of extracurricular involvement, or expulsion.

NEXT WEEK is Faculty Appreciation Week – March 25^th-29^th!

An information letter about Faculty Appreciation Week has been sent to each family. Please read the information and make plans to participate so we can make this year’s Appreciation Week really special for our teachers and faculty!

As noted in the letter, the Donation Box is in the office. Any funds collected will help cover the cost of special items LPA will purchase during Appreciation Week.

Last week, you received a letter regarding Wednesday, March 27, “Favorite Things Day”. On Favorite Things Day, you and your child(ren) are encouraged to bring a note or a special treat to the teachers and faculty members on your list.

Two main days for parents to remember:

Monday, March 25 – Feast Day for teachers – All families are asked to bring food for the teachers to enjoy throughout the day.  Please divide your item into two dishes – we will have two tables of food set up for the teachers – one in the teacher workroom and one in the office. (Note: there are about 60 teachers and faculty)

Wednesday, March 27 – Favorite Things Day – as listed above and on the letter sent home – bring a note of thanks, a special treat or gift.

Logos Yearbook Orders!

Boasting a sleek gold-foiled cover, vibrant pages, and quirky graphics, this year’s yearbook is one to look out for. Don’t miss out on your chance to reminisce over this busy and eventful year!

By the second week of May, the yearbook class will proudly present the 2018-2019 yearbooks to the Logos community.

Please note: Due to high printing costs, we will only print as many copies as are ordered. If you do not order a copy by checking YES on this form and including your payment, we cannot guarantee a copy for you!

Fill out the form that you will receive from your teachers and turn it into your elementary teacher, homeroom teacher, or the office by April 2^nd, 2019 with your payment to guarantee we’ll have a yearbook for you in May!

Library Corner

It’s Scholastic Book Order time again!  Our previous Scholastic Order earned over $150 in free books for the Logos Library.  Thank you! Flyers are going home today. Please return orders and money no later than Wednesday, March 27.
