Yo Han Lim: January 4, 1995 – May 30, 2012

At this time of year, I typically write a quick note to congratulate the students on finishing off another year of studies at Logos and to wish them a good summer. This year, however, is different.  As many of you have heard, Yo Han Lim, a student in grade 10, passed away on Wednesday, May 30th after being in a moto accident.  The circumstances of his passing are tragic and disturbing to say the least; on behalf of the Logos and Asian Hope family, I would like to give me my deepest condolences to Yo Han's family, and his many friends.  We grieve with you, and rejoice with you knowing that Yo Han now lives eternally with our precious Lord and Saviour in Heaven.  We were so blessed to have known Yo Han and to have seen in him his love and passion for God.  We miss him and the hole that is left by his passing will not be quickly mended.  As Christians, however, we know that Yo Han is in the arms of Christ, and that we will see him again when we pass on to be with our God.  The earth is not our home, and we are but travellers passing through.

For those students that would like to talk with someone further about Yo Han's passing, Daren Beck will be on campus at Logos from 2pm-4pm, Monday June 4, Wednesday June 6 and Friday June 8.  Please feel free to come by and talk with him and with others as we grieve for Yo Han.  If you would like to arrange another time to talk with Daren Beck, please feel free to call him at 012560982.
