Dear Logos Family,
We have a very special event coming up this weekend, which I am sure you are aware of; it is Logos’ annual Carnival. However, this carnival is extra special, as we will be celebrating Logos’ 10th year of operation this Saturday. Come out with the whole family, play some games, win some prizes and have some great food as we celebrate Logos’ 10th year. You will be able to find me at the Hot Dog stand, as usual.
Another event that is just around the corner is the High School Bible Camp. All high school students will be gone next week. It should be an excellent time for all of the campers, and a little quieter around Logos without all of the older students around.
February is the month when we ask all families at Logos to let us know if they will be re-enrolling their children next year. Be sure to get the re-enrollment form from the school office. It must be submitted to the office on or before March 6th. After March 6th, we will begin to admit new students for next year in open spaces, and if you have not re-enrolled by then, you may be at risk of losing your child(ren’s) spot. The fees for next year are in the chart below. Tuition will be increased by 10% for all grades, but the large family discount will continue, and the Logos Missionary Discount will continue to be offered. The 15% discount on tuition for all families with three or more children will be given automatically, but missionary families must apply for the Logos Missionary Discount on an annual basis. The information for this discount is available at the school office.
An Announcement from Korean Logos Parents Association (KLPA)
Dear Korean Parents,
I am very excited to announce to you that Logos is interested in starting a Korean Logos Parents Association (KLPA). The KLPA will not replace our exisiting Logos Parent Association (LPA), but it would meet separetly and be the Korean branch of the current LPA. I would like to meet with all Korean parents in order to get your feedback on this idea and discuss it further and answer any questions you may have as a community or family. The meeting will take place on Friday, February 10th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in room 308. Tea and snacks will be provided, but please do not bring your children unless they are very young. CARNIVAL DAY IS COMING!
Saturday, February 4, 2012, will mark our 6th annual Carnival starting at 10am and going until 2pm. There are many fun games and activities that our student body has planned for your enjoyment. Within our Food Court, you will be able to purchase food from Sarpino’s, Gloria Jean’s, Mr. Hein’s Famous Hot Dog Stand, The Great Korean Feast, and Incredible Indian Food. Gate opens at 10:00 AM to purchase tickets.
High School Bible Camp
I would like to remind you that all high school students will be heading out to camp again this year. They will be leaving Monday, February 6th and returning on Friday, February 10th. There will be a $25 fee for camp, and it is mandatory for all students. Further details will be given out soon.
