Jog-A-Thon
Just a reminder to all that the Jog-A-Thon is underway once again. This is a quick month, so the time will be up for this event before we know it. Be sure to take advantage of emailing friends and family overseas! Keep an eye out for this year’s prizes. They will be posted soon! There will be a pool party for the elementary class and the middle school / high school class that raises the most money as well as plenty of individual prizes. More importantly, we are helping to create a better facility for the Logos community to enjoy and share with our Khmer neighbors.

로 고스에 자녀를 두신 어머니들을 위한 기도 모임이 이번 주부터 시작됩니다! 한국어로 하는 모임은 영어로 하는 모임과 동일한 시간인 목요일 1:45에 합니다. 한국어로 하는 모임은 405호 에서 열릴 것이고, 영어로 하는 모임은 ESL 교실인 303호 에서 열릴 것 입니다. 꼭 오셔서 학생, 선생님, 그리고 로고스를 위해 기도해주시기 바랍니다!

Our next LPA meeting is coming right up! We’ll be meeting on Tuesday, November 15th at 1:45pm in Room 405. At this meeting, we’ll be visited by Tim Jones. He’ll be telling to us about his plans for the chapel program at Logos. We’ll also have an opportunity to hear from two of our student government students. They’ll be sharing with us about their upcoming events. Please join us on the 15th! If you have any questions please feel free to call Carolyn Ohlin at 089-638-617. See you on the 15th!
Attention! Neighborhood Kids Outreach Helpers!
Any/Every Student that has helped out with our exciting and growing NKO (Neighborhood Kids Outreach) Program on Saturdays, thank you so much for contributing to the success of this program. We are so excited to be reaching so many kids in our neighborhood. We need all of you to show up this Saturday at 12:00 for a special “thank you”. Also, anyone who would like to help out with this program is encouraged to come as well. Serve the local community while acquiring service hours. Please call Mr. Ohlin with any questions: 089-638-616. (By the way, I think I can talk Dan Hein into giving service hours to any teachers that want to help as well).

Attention Parents: LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
Has your child lost any of these items? Bathing suit, towel, water bottle, t-shirt, etc. Come by the LOST AND FOUND AREA located next to the front office. All LOST AND FOUND uniform clothing will be washed and kept in the office. All uniform clothing should be labeled with name. Please come by and see if any of these items are yours! After a two-week period items will be donated to a ministry.
Calling all SWIMMERS!
Our pre-season is almost over and we are about to begin the Logos Lightning racing season. There is still time to sign up to swim for the second season.
This season will consist of 3 day a week practices (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) with 2 mandatory practice but 3 strongly encouraged. This is also our RACING SEASON! Our first dual meet with be against HOPE School on Nov 23 at Logos and our second dual meet will against ICAN at ICAN School on Dec. 7th.
There is STILL TIME TO JOIN!! We will start second season November 1st.

LOGOS TALENT SHOW-HELP
The Logos talent show is fast approaching (November 18th) and we have some great acts lined up this year. The talent show committee is looking for a way to reward the best of the best and thank them for blessing us with their talent. If you know of any businesses that would be willing to donate a gift certificate or several small gift certificates to be used as prizes please contact Miss Fletcher at kfletcher@logoscambodia.org.
