Summer 2021 Logos Building Expansion

We are pleased to continue improving our campus for enhanced student learning.
We will be expanding our school building with a new wing.
See the Architect renderings of the new locker rooms and 3 additional floors.

Summer 2019 we added the art room, khmer classroom and 2 offices on the 4th floor.  We expanded PK3, PK4, kindergarten classrooms and added exterior doors.  We added additional covered walkways around the field and by the playground.  We also retiled the toddler pool and installed retractable tarp covering over the entire pool area.

Summer 2020 we changed the siding of the gym,  installed solar panels on the roof, purchased a larger generator, developed the outside area for the early years playground, put in a new covered walkway and moto parking outside and changed our campus to be safe for a Covid-19 world.  20 new hand-washing stations were installed around campus.

Summer 2021 we will be expanding our school building by adding a new wing.

We will be removing the old locker rooms, and building new locker rooms and 3 additional floors.  Please see the attached computer generated renderings of the planned project.

A Note from School Nurse:

Encouraging Healthy Habits

Developing and maintaining healthy habits are essential for proper growth and academia. During this unusual time, there have been many changes to our everyday routines. Unfortunately, this can cause an increase in stress or anxiety (Miller, 2021, Child Mind Institute ). That is why I would like to encourage Logos families to get adequate sleep, eat healthy meals, and exercise regularly.

Some helpful hints include:

Keep a consistent sleep schedule, with predictable times to wake up and go to bed.

Take a break from those easy sugary snacks and enjoy more fresh fruits and vegetables. Here are some more tips for Healthy Eating.

Find time to exercise by taking family walks, hikes, or bike rides. If going outside is not an option, find a youtube exercise or dance video the family can do together.

I know sometimes we can be tempted to give up because parenting is a difficult job.  “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded” (2 Chronicles 15:7).
