Congratulations to everyone at Logos! Logos has been officially accredited. We don’t know what WASC will say yet as far as our length of accreditation, but ASCI gave us 6 years, but they will conform to WASC’s length of accreditation. I still expect 3 from WASC.
Congratulations all and be sure to give thanks to our Lord and Savior for his faithfulness to us.
Enjoy your summer wherever you may be!

You may know this already, but just in case you don’t, this is to let you know that the Coerver Soccer Camp price has now been lowered to $40 if the child registers before 30 June.

The past couple weeks at Logos have been busy, busy, busy. To start off, the Logos Graduation on May 25, 2009, held at the ICF building was an exciting and very memorable event for both the seniors and attendants alike. Congratulations to the fifteen seniors who left that ceremony as Logos’ second batch of alumni! Also, we’d like to send out a big “Thank you” to all who were involved in getting the graduation ceremony together from our guest speaker, Mr. Roberts, to Ms. Kimber who did the sound system, to Mr. Weiss and Mr. Hein, as well as to the Tyndale Publishing House for their gifts of NLT Bibles to our senior class as graduation gifts. Thank you all so much!

Following the more solemn graduation ceremony, Logos’ third annual high school banquet subsequently came next in line in the string of end of the year events at school. Held at the Imperial Garden Hotel, the banquet was dazzled by about 70 very good looking students and faculty members. It was quite a sight, especially in contrast to the blue, white, and khaki uniforms we’ve all been so accustomed to. There were a few class competition games involved, such as pictionary and charades, as well as the long-awaited “2009 Banquet Video.” More than the food and games, the end-of-the-year banquet was just a wonderful way to wrap up the year, not only as a farewell event to the seniors but also as a special time to look back on all the events and memories of the past year. Thanks so much to the juniors (11th graders) who fundraised, planned, and organized this wonderful event. Their labor was definitely not in vain! It was a fantastic event :)
Below are various photos from these events:
