Parents of 4th Grade students, you are invited to the 4th Grade Music Recital on Tuesday, May 29th at 2:30PM in the Music Room (ground floor) at Logos International School. Your child will be playing the recorder with the rest of the class, sharing songs learned over the last few months. The performance will finish by the end of school at 3:10PM. Please come and enjoy hearing your child play.

Logos students who desire to attend graduation will also need a ticket and should also pick one up in the main office between Wednesday and Friday. Graduation will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m., please arrive at Logos at 10:00 a.m. in order to find a seat and settle in to the auditorium. We are now in the last month with only several weeks to go. Here is a quick look at what is coming up over the next few weeks. Graduation is on May 12th and high school exams start May 24th. The high school Coffee Cram is on May 23rd. The middle and high school awards are on Thursday, May 31st, and the last day of school is June 1st. I would like to remind you that May 31st is a teacher work day, no students will be on campus that day (until the awards at 6pm). On June Friday, June 1st, students arrive at the normal time, but must be off campus by 10am. It is a time to pick up report cards only. No classes will be conducted that day. We are definitely in the middle of the HOT season right now, and I think we are all looking forward to the rainy season again. I would like to remind you that next Tuesday, May 1st is a holiday as is the 14th and 15th of May. Students with grades below a C- will be receiving progress reports this Friday, April 27th. We will have teachers from the U.S. with us again this summer, and we will divide it into a 2 week session and a three week session. It will all start up in the last week of June and finish up July 27th. Don’t miss out!
I hope you had a restful Khmer New Year. It was great to have some time off of school and spend time with family. Hard to imagine, but there are less than 7 full weeks of school left before we are done for the year. Summer school will be starting up again before we know it! I would like to remind you that next Wednesday, April 25th is an Early Dismissal day. Teachers will be working on curriculum during the afternoon.
