Well, we had our first major disruption for dropping off traffic this morning (Thursday, Jan. 26). The workers doing the road construction blocked both directions by dumping sand in the middle of the roads leading away from the school. Please be aware that there may be other traffic disruptions in the future. We will have men helping to direct traffic and explain the situation as it occurs. Thank you for your patience.
The calendar for the 2012-2013 school year is up on the school website. Click on the “calendar button” on the top left of the school website and click to the month you wish to see. These dates are still tentative, but I believe there will be little, if any, changes to them. If you were looking at the dates on this calendar previously, please be aware that Water Festival and Pchum Ben for 2012 were incorrect and have now been changed. This Friday, the juniors are hosting a dress-down day to raise money for banquet. Students who wish to participate should bring 2000 riel. Thank you!

We are into our second week of the second semester, and everything is running smoothly at Logos. I hope the construction on the road out front has not been too much of a hassle for families during the morning drop off time and afternoon pick up time. Hopefully it will be done soon. We are excited that the new swings for the playground should be delivered this weekend and be ready to use for students by next Monday. By Dalin, on January 18th, 2012 Logos is looking for a grade 5 teacher to finish the year for Mr. Walker who will be returning to the U.S. early for the birth of his first child. We need someone to replace him starting immediately after Khmer New Year through to the end of the school year. If you know of someone who may be able to help us, please contact the school office.
In addition, we are looking for qualified teachers for next year. We have opening in pre-k, kindergarten, upper elementary, and middle school / high school bible. Again, if you know of anyone that may be interested, please contact the school office.
